I provide expert advice, planning, and support for digital media programs in institutions in Europe.

1. Blekinge Institute of Technology (Karlskrona, Sweden): From 2007 to 2011, I served at guest professor and helped in building of an innovative undergraduate program that combined a knowledge of humanities with hands-on experience in digital media design (Literature, Culture, and Digital Media). This program is now being redesigned to suit the new environment and profile of Swedish education and media industries and will welcome its first class this fall (2011) as Digital Culture and Communication. I will continue to serve as an advisor, particularly for the research arm of the new program.

2. Copenhagen IT University (Copenhagen, Denmark): From 2011 to 2015, I will serve as member of the advisory Board for the University. Copenhagen IT (Information Technology) University has a profile within the Danish university system to provide education and conduct research in a range of digital fields and practices, ranging from games to communication and software design.

3. Almere Institute: In 2011, working with Profs. Hans Bouwknegt, Frank Peters, and Maria Engberg, I authored a proposal for an innovative, international Institute for education and research in information technology and the media industries for the City of Almere in the Netherlands.
